History

APQ SHIPMANAGEMENT CO., INC. was establish on November 21, 1997, founded by ALEX P. QUILLOPE, owner of MARINERS CONSULTANCY & GENERAL SERVICES, a training institute that became a Sister Company of APQ SHIP.

APQ SHIPMANAGEMENT CO., INC., is a corporation organized under Philippine laws, authorized by the Securities and Exchange Commission and duly licensed by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) to operate as Manning Agency, to recruit and deploy Filipino Seamen which is based on ISO standard.

APQ SHIP believes that ocean-going vessels need not only crew with muscle but also with brain, that is why the company has its own training program that help each crew to enhance and upgrade their skills and abilities. APQ SHIP as a support component, is a part owner of a Maritime School (Columbus Maritime Institute).

It is the mission of APQ SHIP to provide and retain the Best pool of competent seamen onboard their vessel around the world.

Our organization is tapped of well-experienced and knowledgeable officers, Staff and ex-Mariners who had been onboard different types of commercial vessels.
